Broker & Portfolio Data

This disclosure explains how RQuants, operated by Syntx LLC, a New York limited liability company, connects to brokerage accounts and uses portfolio information.

Read-only connectivity

RQuants offers read-only integration with supported brokers, including Interactive Brokers and other platforms listed on our site. Through this integration we may:

Display positions, balances, and account-level metrics in your dashboard
Group positions into strategies and compute portfolio-level analytics
Support live mark-to-market and P/L views when enabled

We do not place, modify, route, or cancel orders on your behalf through this integration.

Your authorization

By configuring a broker connection in the Service, you instruct Syntx LLC to retrieve portfolio data from your broker using the connection parameters you provide. You represent that you have authority to grant this access for each linked account.

You may disconnect a broker at any time in Settings. Disconnection stops future data retrieval but may not delete historical records already stored, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Security of connection data

Broker connection settings are stored in systems associated with your account and protected by administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. Transmission over the internet carries inherent risk; you accept that risk when using the Service.

You remain responsible for securing your broker credentials, API permissions, and any local gateway software (such as TWS or IB Gateway), including IP allowlists and two-factor authentication offered by your broker.

No broker affiliation

Syntx LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Interactive Brokers, Tradier, Tastytrade, TradeStation, or any other brokerage firm. Broker names and logos appear for identification only.

Your relationship with your broker—including margin, commissions, order execution, and dispute resolution—is governed solely by your brokerage agreement.

Data accuracy

Portfolio figures depend on timely and accurate feeds from your broker and our connector. Delays, omissions, corporate actions, assignment events, or reconciliation differences may occur. Verify all positions and risk with your broker before trading.

Not a custodian

Syntx LLC does not hold securities or cash. Your assets remain at your broker. The Service is not a bank and is not covered by FDIC deposit insurance or SIPC brokerage protection.

Uploaded trade history

In addition to live broker feeds, you may upload CSV or similar files containing historical trade records for personal analytics. Uploaded data is associated with your account and is not shared with other users. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion.
